A hi-tech eco camp for just twenty four guests situated over 1500m high in the Swiss Alps, it offers the ultimate in comfort and adventure. There are no busy streets. No hotels. Nothing at all in fact, apart from the majesty of the Alps, the breathtaking beauty of the scenery, perfect for anyone seeking complete isolation far from the stress and the hustle and bustle of city life and for people who love to ski.

Perched just above Les Cerniers, a small village at the foot of the Dents du Midi mountains, Whitepod consists of 8 pods arranged around a traditional 19th-century alpine chalet.
Made of white canvas, they blend in perfectly with the winter landscape.The combination of the thermal insulation technology and a wood burning stove, together with warm duvets, organic throws and sheepskins, keep the interiors cosy. Large oval windows offer breathtaking views of the spectacular alpine scenery outside, and each pod has its own small terrace. On arrival, you are shown to your pod, and your luggage is delivered by skidoo.
The creation of Swiss local, Sofia de Meyer, Whitepod is inspired by a desire to create a haven of beauty and tranquillity for those seeking to restore tired bodies and jaded spirits. Guests can look forward to traditional food prepared by the resident chef... numerous activities with experienced guides... a deep tissue massage in the spa... and a peaceful night's sleep in your very own white pod. Above all, you can look forward to being immersed in the silence of unspoilt nature - utterly still, and unbelievably beautiful.
At the heart of the Whitepod camp, bathrooms are located in the beautifully refurbished 19th century alpine chalet. The chalet also houses the dining room, a bar / sitting room, and a library with wireless internet access. On the top floor is a mini-spa offering a range of therapies and massages, and there is an outdoor hot tub to relax in. Traditional food is served in the dining room, with its open fireplace, or, weather permitting, outside on the terrace. In-room dining is also available on request in the largest pods.
Located above the camp at an altitude of 1800m, on the edge of Whitepod’s private ski run, the Alpine refuge can be reached by snowshoes, ski touring or traditional alpine skiing. Exclusive to Whitepod guests, the Alpine refuge is an ideal destination to take a break from any activity. Traditional mountain lunches are served. Evening meals can be organised on request, with a night ski or dog-sled ride back to the camp.
The camp manager is on hand to help you organise each day as you please. Each morning starts softly with a choice of tea or coffee served in your pod, followed by full breakfast served in the Alpine chalet. After breakfast, choose from a variety of activities including snowshoeing trails, private ski tuition and off-piste skiing with experienced guides, dog-sledging, snowboarding; opt for a massage at the spa, or simply bask in the beauty of the surroundings. Whitepod has its own private ski run to enable guests to avoid the queues and crowds, and torch-lit night skiing is offered.
At the end of your day, your pod awaits at the end of a path carved in the fresh snow and lit by petrol lamps. Inside, you'll find your wood burning stove quietly glowing.
