onguma tented lodge

Onguma Private Nature Reserve extends over 20,000 hectares beside the eastern border of Namibia’s Etosha National Park. The seven spacious tents that comprise Onguma Tented Camp provide a beguiling mixture of sophistication and relaxation deep in the wilds of northern Namibia. The lodge blends seamlessly with a natural waterhole, edged with graceless trees and Makalani palms that attract prolific birds and wildlife.  The camp is a study in contrasts with stone, suede, linen and steel reflecting the colours of the natural surrounds and an African charm. Guests can enjoy game drives into Etosha National Park guided walks through the bush and night game drives in the reserve.

mowani mountain lodge

Mowani is hidden on a high spot amongst boulders, commanding royal views over the ancient and rugged landscape of the Aba-Huab valley. The camp has been carefully designed to create the impression of an African village. The dome-like thatched structures accommodate a dining and sitting room and blend in perfectly with the surrounding boulders. Guests are housed in twelve luxury East African style safari tents constructed on stilt-like supports. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Activities include daytime guided nature drives to find mountain zebra, kudu, springbok and the adaptable desert elephant. Other nearby attractions include one of the richest collections of African Rock Art at Twyfelfontein, the Petrified forests, the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain.

Wolwedans is dramatically set on top of the dunes, in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, just south of Sossusvlei. The portfolio of camps provides ample opportunity to meet guests varying expectations and preferred levels of comfort – be it the intimate Dune Camp, the luxurious Dune Lodge , the secluded Private Camp or the latest addition, Boulders Camp hidden amongst a granite outcrop. Wolwedans is a place where you can learn how nature has adapted to harsh desert conditions. It is also a place to relax and unwind, whilst being looked after by a friendly local team of staff.
