mantana - lake mburo tented camp
This camp is situated in Lake Mburo National Park on a small hill overlooking Lake Mburo and one of the game corridors leading to the lake. The park is in the heart of Uganda's Ankole district which lies halfway between Kampala and the tourist attractions in South West of the country. Accommodation is full-board in ten fully furnished Batian tents comprising verandah, twin bedroom, dressing area and en-suite shower and toilet facilities.
Mantana Luxury tented camps have excellent dining facilities with their kitchens preparing delicious food of the highest standards complemented by the freshest vegetables and tropical fruit.
The service is warm, friendly and unobtrusive. The camp staff, in keeping with company policy, are from the local communities, with a fund of knowledge of the areas in which they live and work and are trained to make sure that clients have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

volcanoes bwindi camp
Volcanoes Bwindi Camp overlooks the primeval Bwindi Forest with monkeys, gorillas, chimpanzees and birds screeching near the stream below. It is the perfect place to experience the magic of this impenetrable forest.
Comfortable wooden and thatched chalets or ‘bandas’ and good thatched dining and relaxation areas, very close to the park entrance make this a good base to do your tracking from.

gorilla forest camp
The Gorilla Forest Camp is a luxury tented camp in the rainforest at the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. As the sole property within the park’s boundaries, this is the ideal base for gorilla tracking.
The camp offers a bar and dining cottage overlooking the rain forest, as well as a raised natural platform for open air dining. At night, a traditional African campfire is lit from where a lecture might be given by a visiting primatologist, the gorilla briefings are undertaken or guests simply admire the myriad brilliance of Bwindi’s crystal clear mountain sky.
Gorilla Forest Camp has been designed to blend seamlessly into this most atmospheric of environments, carefully-appointed towards the misty valleys and looming, forest-clad mountains that protect this fragile eco-system. Accommodation is in 8 double tents, raised on wooden platforms, each with en-suite facilities and hot and cold running water, WC, basin and unusually – a bathtub looking out onto the forest. Each tent has a spacious wooden verandah where guests can relax, enjoy a private meal and absorb the exotic mystery of the surrounding rainforest that provided the inspiration for the animation of Disney’s The Jungle Book.

mweya safari lodge
In the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mweya Safari Lodge is an old style luxury lodge. High on a peninsula overlooking the Kazinga Channel between Lake Edward and Lake George, the lodge affords one of the most beautiful views in Uganda.
Mweya Safari Lodge has been upgraded and renovated (though it looks more like a hotel than a lodge) and provides good accommodation and service facilities . The 46 rooms and suites are all with en suite bathrooms and private balconies overlook either the Kazinga Channel or Lake Edward. Amenities include a swimming pool, the well stocked Tembo bar and an elegant air-conditioned restaurant with good cuisine. Breakfast is taken on the alfresco terrace adjacent to the Kazinga Channel.
Though the lodge’s location is fantastic it should be noted that it is not a personal lodge, more a large hotel.
