deloraine house
At the Deloraine House you are part of the family in a house party atmosphere. A colonial home built by Sir Francis Scott in the 1920's and set in the middle of a 5000 acre commercial farm is now run by Cindy and Tristan Voorspuy, who themselves represent a quarter of a century legend of running riding safaris in the Mara and cater for the relatively inexperiencedn rider as well as those who are well versed in riding.
traditional safari style tents
While out on a riding safari guests stay in 10ft x 9ft traditional safari style green canvas tents with wash stands and adjacent short drop loo and bucket shower. Showers are readily available. Bedding, sheets, and towels are provided and twin safari cots are the norm though 2 double beds are available on request. Lighting is by gas and hurricaine lamps. If people need to re charge video batteries this may be done with a cigarette lighter adapter attached to a car battery (12 Volt).
