Villa Michaela is a very large, listed early nineteenth century villa in the hills south of Lucca which has been restored and modernised to an exceptionally high standard.

Thirty minutes from Pisa airport and fifty minutes from the heart of Florence, the villa offers a combination of easy international access, country atmosphere and proximity to the historical cultural delights of Tuscany.

But despite its excellent location and easy access, the villa sits in quiet expansive surroundings with beautiful unspoilt views of undulating olive groves and the Alpe Apuane.

Nestling in 50 acres of pine forests and olive groves, the villa lies about 8 kilometres south of Lucca and has extensive gardens, a floodlit tennis court, a large swimming pool and several different al fresco dining areas. The main house accommodates 22 people in eleven double bedrooms and bathrooms and the coach house which is adjacent to the villa sleeps another 6 people.

Whilst the house is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Vorno the surroundings are completely rural and tranquil, but guests also have the convenience of the village bar, shop and restaurant being only five minutes walk away.
