The Serengeti Safari Camp is probably the most civilized way to see the migration. This luxury mobile safari camp moves seasonally around the Serengeti ecosystem shadowing the Serengeti wildebeest migration so that wherever the great herds are, you're as close to them as you're likely to get. Serengeti Safari Camp caters for up to eight people at a time with individual private vehicles and safari guides as standard.

Serengeti Safari Camp not only offers one of the best chances of finding the wildebeest migration away from the crowds, but is also superbly comfortable with first class food. The camp supplies lavish picnics to be taken on all-day game drives, so you can choose to stay out all day some times, and return to camp for a lazy lunch and siesta on others. And at the end of every exciting day you arrive back at camp to hot showers, ice filled gin & tonics, a roaring campfire, dinner under the stars, and fireside safari bonhomie.

In all things - food, service and equipment, the focus is on quality and attention to detail. The small crew of 4 - 6 Tanzanians who run the operation are friendly and efficient and look after your every need down to the smallest detail. In cold months you'll even find a hot water bottle in your bed when you turn in.

The camp is discreet and provides just the right level of comfort to complement the awesome natural surroundings. The en suite tent is a luxurious room under canvas and the bed is both large (6ft 7inches) and incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are en-suite, with traditional safari style bucket showers, short drop toilets, and hot and cold water on demand. There is a complimentary daily laundry service (weather permitting).

The heart of the camp is a large dining tent with a shaded 'sitting out' area. As well as a fully-stocked complimentary bar with a selection of spirits, wines, beers and ice, there is a small reference library of African books and a variety of games.

These areas are some of the best places to have authentic cultural visits. In Loliondo the Maasai are to some degree hosting your visit as many of these areas belong to them.
